Jodie Whittaker and Designer Ray Holman discuss the inspiration behind the Thirteenth Doctor's costume
The BBC has now posted a new video offering some further insight behind some of the decisions behind the Thirteenth Doctor's costume.

In a bit of a follow-up to their excellent Q&A session with Ray Holman, the BBC has now posted a new video offering some further insight behind some of the decisions behind the Thirteenth Doctor's costume. Earlier interviews noted Jodie took inspiration from a photo she found on the internet, and the new videos shows that.

“The main journey of it came from a photograph that I found of a woman in trousers, braces and a t-shirt walking with purpose. And I loved it and it felt timeless, it felt intriguing and kind of open to interpretation and I really love that. And it was neither male or female which, was really important to me.”

Also in earlier interviews, Jodie noted that everything on the costume had a purpose, right down to the colors and well, this new video does a great job of highlighting it all.
